Since his calling to the Québec Bar in 1994, Mr. Samuel practices law within private law firms, in business law, Immigration and in commercial & civil litigation.
He acts as legal advisor for a vast clientele of well-established corporations, small and medium-sized businesses and their shareholders, directors and officers, particularly in the drafting and negotiation of contracts, the preparation of legal opinions and the management of complex files in commercial law and immigration cases for their workers. Accustomed to demanding and urgent files, requiring rigor, speed and flexibility, Mr. Samuel works hard to find, for each of our clients, tailor-made and practical solutions, rooted in the reality of the business world and immigration.
Mr. Samuel has been involved in many major commercial transactions, including venture capital and institutional investors financings, sales and acquisitions of large private corporations, and corporate restructurings and reorganizations. He works regularly in multidisciplinarity with the accountants, notaries and tax specialists who are part of the vast network of our firm.
Mr. Samuel also has extensive litigation experience, having represented his clients before the courts in almost all areas of civil law (civil liability, immigration, securities, insurance, estates, sales, leases) and in many public and administrative law cases.
In parallel with his practice, Mr. Samuel completed, in 2001, a specialized graduate degree in business law at Université de Montréal.
