Rishi commenced his studies in the area of Psychology in the state of California and moved back to Toronto to complete his degree earning his B.A. with Honours from York University. Rishi commenced his legal studies at the University of Kent in England and obtained his LL.B in 2012. He thoroughly enjoyed his time abroad and played for the University’s Men’s basketball team and also led the intercollege team to a Championship victory in his final year. Rishi was also able to travel extensively while studying. He decided to further his education by obtaining a Masters in US Law of which he completed in 2014. He found that having furthered his education in this manner provided him with a more well-rounded perspective and a dynamic knowledge base to work from which sets him apart from most.
Rishi completed Articling under the supervision of a prominent lawyer who holds over 20 years of experience. Rishi was called to the bar in 2016 and began working for 8 months prior to joining Shariff & Associates. He has experience in the areas of Family law, Landlord & Tenant matters, Wills and Estates, Criminal law, and Civil Litigation. He is dedicated to his clients and works hard for them ensuring their best interests always remain at the forefront.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoys playing basketball, travelling and eating good food.
Rishi is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, Ontario Bar Association, the York Region Law Association, and the Toronto Lawyer’s Association.
