Alastair has been working with immigrant communities for +20 years and he has been practising immigration law in Ontario and Manitoba since 2008. He founded Clarke Immigration Law to give clients the best service at affordable fees.
Alastair provides legal assistance in all areas of immigration and refugee law, including the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP), family sponsorships, work and study permits, visitor visas, refugee claims and business/ entrepreneur stream applications. In addition, Alastair has extensive experience at the Immigration and Refugee Board and at Federal Court.
Alastair oversees all the work at Clarke Immigration Law with the goal of building a law firm that is based on 100% transparent billing and a client-centred approach. As a former public school teacher, Alastair provides straight answers and honest legal advice.
Alastair has provided dozens of presentations to community groups, lawyers and paralegals. In particular, he provided training on immigration law to lawyers and community legal workers at Legal Aid Ontario in Toronto at their annual training retreats in 2009 and 2010. Alastair has taught Immigration and Refugee Law at Seneca College and he regularly provides guest lectures to law students at the University of Manitoba (Faculty of Law). Other notable appearances:

Alastair Clarke: In the Community
In Winnipeg, Alastair is a founding Member & Chair of the Cooperative Housing Appeal Tribunal of Manitoba, governed by the Cooperative Act (Manitoba),C.C.S.M. c. C223. He currently sits as a Panel Chair of the Tribunal. He serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the John Howard Society and he volunteers his time as a presenter for the Community Legal Education Association, as a supervising lawyer at the Legal Help Centre, and as a resource at L’Accueil Francophone where he has provided workshops in French.
